Actavis Totowa, the maker of Digitek, has recently issued a Class 1 recall of Digitek tablets. The Digitek recall (digoxin tablets) was issued because it was discovered the tablets may have been made containing twice the appropriate dose. The tablets, distributed by Mylan Pharmaceuticals, may be purchased under the labels “UDL” or “Bertek.”

Digitek is commonly prescribed to patients suffering from heart failure or arrhythmias. When prescribed correctly, Digitek (digoxin tablets) help the heart beat at a more normal pace.
